DJ Steph curates a soulful mix of alternative tunes, weaving together genres and cultures to create a musical landscape that invites to discovery and intimacy. Let’s step into this world together - a world where we can connect, play, and embrace the magic of tango on alternative music.

Marie - SE

When I DJ, it feels as if I’m dancing with everyone on the floor - an invisible yet vibrant connection where every note invites presence, playfulness and creativity. It’s in that encounter that my joy resides.

When I select music, I aim to create an experience. I look for tracks that invite connection, imagination, and depth – whether they’re electronic, cinematic, minimalist, or melodic. My intention is for every dancer to have space to feel, explore, and let their dance blossom in dialogue with the music.

Eze - ARG/NL

DJ Eze has played at major international neotango and traditional tango festivals across Europe and Argentina. He is a pioneer of neotango as both a dancer and a teacher, and creates sets full of variety, emotion, and surprises—always tuned into the energy of the dance floor to ensure everyone is having a great time. DJ Eze’s signature style lies in the way he blends tracks together: smooth and seamless transitions that guide dancers on an emotional journey — a true dance trip. With subtle elegance, his sets flow naturally through different genres, styles, energies, and moods, creating a unique experience that often feels like time melts away.

Anna - RU/FR

Anna has been immersed in music since childhood, with a journey that spans from classical piano to rock bands. Her love for tango music began in 1998, but it took over a decade before she stepped onto the dance floor herself.

Today, Anna embraces both the golden traditional era and the innovative spirit of neotango music. She dreams of a world where these musical expressions coexist in perfect harmony.

By turning every tune she plays into a unique piece of art, you can expect Anna to guide you on a journey through time and across a wide spectrum of feelings on the dancefloor.

Thierry - FR

DJ Thierry is above all a creative dancer who “lives” the music. He has a background in many social dances like swing, blues, salsa and tango. He loves tango music from the golden age, but what makes him vibrate is to open, enrich and mix styles to create new musical and corporeal horizons. This is what brought him to neotango. Nice melodies, emotions and changes in rythms and intensity are Thierry's music markers. Thierry is the co-organizer of several festivals: NeoTango Toulouse (TNT), NeoTango Bruges (NTB), NeoTango Meissen (NTM) and the Toulouse Fusion weekend (Fusion dance festival).

Malin - SE

Malin is the founder of Tango Fusion Uppsala, Sweden, and has been DJ’ing at Neotango festivals and marathons around Europe since 2013. With Malin in the DJ booth you can expect contrast and variation, music that evokes emotions and gives you the urgent need to dance. Sexy, jazzy, happy and sad tunes and, of course, that precious moment of silence and stillness before the next song begins. You’ll leave the dance floor with love and happiness in your eyes!

Jean-Marc - CH

Since 2005, Jean-Marc has been actively promoting the cause of neotango by organizing the only neolonga in the Lake Geneva region, which takes place during summer in a beautiful park in Morges.

An avid and eclectic music aficionado, he likes mixing different styles in his sets, in which he strives to find the perfect balance between well-known pieces and new ones.

Klaudia - ALB/SE

As the co-founder of Anarcho Milonga, Klaudia brings a rebellious and playful spirit to the dance floor. With roots in classical tango, her journey began through traditional music, but a passion for alternative forms of expression quickly led her toward the world of neotango. Her sets blend the familiar with the unexpected. Klaudia creates an atmosphere where dancers feel free to explore, express themselves without limitations, and most importantly, have fun. Through driving beats, lyrical textures, and bold contrasts, her music invites joy, creativity, connection, and a sense of freedom on the dance floor.

Birkagården, with its cozy ambiance and thoughtful design, is nestled in the northern part of the center of Stockholm. Birkagården was founded in 1912 with the aim of providing education to the lower social classes. In the 1960s, the building became a home to aspiring musicians and today houses both music education and other creative classes. Welcome to a warm and embracing atmosphere that perfectly complements the intimate vibe of Aurora.

Note: Limited spots available. Registration opens on May 15th at 12:00

Dance Floor etiquette:

No traditional tanda structure
Dance 1, 2, or more songs with the same partner. As you wish.
Feel free to experiment with steps and styles inspired by the music.
Dance in tango shoes, dance shoes, or even in socks if wanted.
Invite others to dance with a glance, a gesture, or simply by asking.
